“Nhtsa campaign # 02v178000: my 2000, k1500, Chevrolet suburban was hit head on by a speeding 2003 hyundai tiburon gt. Both vehicles suffered significant damage and had to be towed away. The bumper and grill were pushed back into the radiator and oil cooler of the suburban. The bumper folder into a v shape at the license plate. No air bags on the suburban deployed. The hyundai air bags deployed. I have been told by connell Chevrolet that the referenced recall did not apply to my suburban.”
