“Stability traction control light keeps coming on while in motion. With major oil consumption problems. Just in regular driving I've had transmission, and rear differential work done fixed the problem for a few months now back again with flashing check engine light. Saying cylinder 6 misfiring. I've already sunk in over 4k in this after buying it last year in dec.of 2017. After reading comments this really should be a recall. With so many of the same concerns and complaints that have been listed.”

NHTSA complaint #11157096, filed 2018-12, 201,000 miles

“I was proceeding from an intersection and turning left, I reached a speed of 15-20 MPH and there was a bang and a clunk and the power to the wheels was gone, I coasted to the roadside and was unable to put the car in d drive or 3 it was as if it was in neutral. I was able to limp home using 1st and 2nd gears. Vehicle was towed to dealership for a transmission replacement due to the failure of the forward sprag component.”

NHTSA complaint #10445163, filed 2012-01, 95,122 miles

“I have a 2007 Chevrolet 4wd suburban ls that has its transmission rebuilt because the truck just won't go. It has 34k plus miles and 42 month old. I wanted to know if this is common on this kind of vehicle and why did it happen.”

NHTSA complaint #10364136, filed 2010-11, 34,000 miles

“Like to place a formal complaint regarding the oil consumption for 2007 chevy suburban and the horrible quality of vehicle. A few months after purchasing the vehicle the transmission gave out. I've been having problems with oil consumption and its horrible. I believe that chevy should stand behind their product and do a massive recalls for these vehicle. Again, chevy should stand behind their product. There are so many reviews about this same problem. Obvious there is a problem. Will never buy a chevy again nor will I recommend chevy vehicles!!”

NHTSA complaint #10567016, filed 2014-03, 10,000 miles
