Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Second row door lock/unlock buttons do not function properly. The vehicle may be locked from this position but is unable to be unlocked. This allowed a small child in a car seat to lock themselves in the car but unable to unlock the vehicle using the corresponding button on the door. This is a serious issue which left the child trapped and required rescue from the fire department. This is a known issue for all GM/Chevy SUV from model year 25&26”

NHTSA complaint #11772057, filed 2026-10

“1) Both screens (driver display and infotainment) go black intermittently. Sometimes the infotainment comes back on, however, you cannot use all the buttons. The hard buttons under the screen for climate control (aside from the on/off ) wont work. The climate will automatically go to 76 degrees on Max Defrost. The rear climate will shut off when this happens. It also causes the radio controls on the back of the steering wheel to not work. 2) It is extremely dangerous to not have a visual indicator for the speed at which I am driving. …”
