“I am writing to you asking for assistance in replacement of my dashboard . I use the october date as we have noticed the cracks over the last couple months. One of the cracks is directly above where the passenger airbag is. I have discovered that there are 10000 members on a cracked dashboard site on facebook. I do not understand why GM does not stand behind this. I am concerned if the airbag deploys and someone is in the passenger seat they can be impaileded with hard pieces of plastic. I love my 2014 Tahoe ltz and has planned on trading it in on a new Tahoe or suburban. …”

The consumer stated the side blind zone alert did not provide safety or security during inclement weather. The system failed to operate on three separate occasions, while driving in the rain. The dealer informed the consumer, the condition was normal.”
