“On sunday, august 5th my 2005 Chevrolet trailblazer experienced a complete tire failure. This was the second failure on a tire on my vehicle within a one week period. The first failure was much less catastophic than the second, however, the symptoms appear to be related. As I changed lanes on a busy highway I heard a thumping sound followed by rubber flying into the air. The vehicle to my right slowed to allow me to proceed to the shoulder area. The vehicle handled very well, but the tire was completely separated from the sidewalls.”
