“Consumer's vehicle was involved in a head on crash at 65 MPH, and rear ended. Upon impact, frontal air bags deployed. Driver and a child sustained injuries, and they were transported to the local hospitals by private vehicle. Driver sustained injuries to the neck, upper/lower back/left shoulder separated, and a sprained left wrist and left elbow. Child sustained a sprained right wrist.”

The contact stated while driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle hydro planned and traveled across the lawn. The vehicle then crashed into a house and the air bags failed to deploy. The driver suffered from a concussion and laceration that required medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was destroyed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 110,000.”
