“Bought a 2011 Traverse a month ago with 93705 miles on it. On the drive home the lights of the dash came on and said traction control off, service stabilitrak, reduced engine power. It wouldn't go past 20 MPH (mind you I'm on a busy street with my four kids). Was able to get it home and called the dealership I got it from and am waiting for a call back.”

NHTSA complaint #11278521, filed 2019-11, 167,000 miles“Times 2- again I get the stabilitrak warning. Cruise will not work, powers down trying to excelerate. The dealership can not fix this sense there is no code coming up for it even though the warning light is on and flashing on my dash. Trying to accelerate it will power down at lights, on interstate etc.”
NHTSA complaint #11265538, filed 2019-10, 180,000 miles“The service traction control and stabilitrack light keeps coming on. Our vehicle is a family vehicle and when we hit a stop and try to accelerate again the vehicle lunges. Loss of speed down to 10-15 MPH immediatly. We have to drive this vehicle on the highway everyday and this is seriously dangerous.”
NHTSA complaint #11110725, filed 2018-07, 75,000 miles“Driving on the highway in nh in traffic when stabilitrac/reduced power/traction control light came on and car slowed down to 15 MPH on a busy highway. Barely made it off the next exit as car wouldn't go over 10 MPH. Luckily the cars behind me did not slam into me as it was a dangerous situation. A recall is needed is it is a serious safety issue.”
