“After purchasing the vehicle we noticed that the mirror was developing a dark film which kept getting worse. It is now very difficult to see out of the mirror. It has gotten so bad that it is now a safety issue. We are now afraid to drive it because of the possibility of an accident and so it is now parked in the garage and not being driven.”

NHTSA complaint #10851117, filed 2016-03, 100 miles

“I went to turn on my windshield wipers because it was raining and the only speed that would work was the fastest speed. Nothing else works except when you turn them on all the way.”

NHTSA complaint #10659487, filed 2014-11, 56,678 miles

“Wipers stopped working when I was on the road. Still continue not to work. Which is not fun to drive. Hoping for no rain. Not sure why mine doesn't have a recall being its in the snow state and they are replacing a part. So I am suppose to pay for it myself? Another issue, our windows don't want to roll up back up. Our back right window has gotten stuck down. The button back there and in front won't bring it back up. We have to try it for like an hour, turning the vehicle on and off, reaming on the buttons to get it up. If there is a short circuit somewhere? We can't adjust our mirrors. …”

NHTSA complaint #11114919, filed 2018-07, 77,000 miles

“My 2011 chevy Traverse was parked in the garage for over an hour when my husband walked in the garage and heard a crackling noise. He began walking around trying to find the noise and saw the back window of the Traverse slowing cracking. When he first observed - there was no holes - only cracking. The cracking continued for unknown length of time. Two holes in the center formed as glass fell out. By the next morning, one large hole in the center had formed. The glass appears to bulge out from the inside of the car. The edges of the glass all around the perimeter of the window are gone. …”

NHTSA complaint #10407008, filed 2011-06, 9,500 miles

“The rear support for lift of door failed- vehicle was stationary the driver side windshield wiper failed - vehicle was in motion on highway A/C blows freon through vents- stationary, in motion- has been in shop 3 times condenser, A/C lines have been replaced- still does not hold freon for long”
