“The middle seat seatbelt got caught in the recline lever which caused the seatbelt to lock and there is know way of releasing it, making the seatbelt unusable.”

NHTSA complaint #11385402, filed 2020-12, 43,000 miles

“The seatbelt buckle in the middle row jams and makes the seatbelt unusable. I took the vehicle to the dealer and was told I had to pay for this repair when this is clearly a safety issue that Chevrolet should take care of. There is a defect in the seatbelt buckles for this vehicle. When I first purchased it in July 2021 they had to replace one seatbelt buckle and now a second one stopped working.”

NHTSA complaint #11488212, filed 2022-10

“I was driving to take my daughter to school and my truck made a loud click noise and it sounded accelerated and it won’t go more then 10 miles per hour which almost made a car crash me . Also the pass anger seat belt does nit work properly”

NHTSA complaint #11475013, filed 2022-07

“The backseat seatbelt is not working. When you insert the metal part of the seatbelt in the clip, it won’t clip. You have to push the button numerous times then it clicks. However, I’m not sure if it’s safe enough to trust since it’s faulty at the insert. Also, the passenger seatbelt is faulty. When seatbelt is on, the seatbelt stays in a lock position and doesn’t loosen, it stays tight although brakes weren’t applied, to promote it to lock. I can send a video ob both faulty seatbelts.”

NHTSA complaint #11515210, filed 2023-04

“I took my son to my work when we arrived I told my sons to take their seatbelts off. My son started screaming it's tightening it's tightening. With him being in a booster it pinned him he tried to wiggle out and got even more stuck I turned the car off to tried to remove and was unsuccessful it unhooked from the buckle but he was still strapped to the car. He started bleeding from his nose and mouth and said his shoulder hurts. I had another co worker try to help me out and we were unable to until I had to cut the seatbelt”
