“Im drive down 41 to oshkohs wi at night I have my head lights on high beam and a deer ran out and im going 70 and hit it in the back end if my lights whould have been brighter I whould have seen it on low looks like a wall stops on high they go further but there is still a wall”

NHTSA complaint #11181733, filed 2019-02, 60,000 miles

“This vehicle as a shutter on the headlamp. This goes down on low beams and up on high beams. I am unable to drive this vehicle at night, the head lights do not shine down the road, and clearly not be able to see. This is a huge danger issue, that needs to be addressed. Dealership is saying...sorry, nothing that can be done. Please help me.”

NHTSA complaint #10508228, filed 2013-04, 1,000 miles

“Headlight are terrible. Can not travel at night. Dealer has aligned them 6 times and says he can not fix problem. High beam shines up to the tree tops. Can not see to turn left. After I bought salesman said his wife had the same problem with her'sister, traded it in. I said why in the hell did u not tell me before I bought. This vehicle is a safety hazard and should not be on the road at night. Am retired and can not afford to trade. Hell,”

NHTSA complaint #11033829, filed 2017-10, 60,000 miles

“While driving the vehicle on several occasions the hazard lights would turn on without the button being pressed. After that 1st incident it's happened more often than not and other drivers are thinking that we need to pull over when we don't. I'm not sure what the cause of this is, but it's a new vehicle and if this continues it's going to cause me possibly getting a ticket with law enforcement. Which is something I'm going to pursue Chrysler paying because this is a major problem for me.”

NHTSA complaint #10669548, filed 2015-01, 1,700 miles

“I have been researching complaints on my brand-new 2013 Chrysler 200 limited sport; it seems that there is some kind of shutter which limits the forward visibility of the low-beams. As a result, any traveling at the posted speed limit, I.e. Above 35 MPH, at night, you are struggling to see, and overdriving the headlights. Forget about when you are in traffic, with cars approaching, quite literally, you cannot see 40 yards. If a pedestrian darts out, you will not be able to see well enough to react. …”
