NHTSA complaint #11390866, filed 2021-01, 20,000 miles“When I accelerate from a stop sign or from a stopped position the vechicle will rev high and not pick up speed. It will stall in the middle of an intersection or as I am driving. This has been occurring since I purchased the vehicle in march 2016. When the vehicle is being started, the car engine and electrical system flickers uncontrollably. All of the lights on the dash board goes off and on the dials goes up and down. The engine shacks as it would like to start but doesn't. It would take up to 2 to 3 times to restart the car to work properly. …”

As soon as I turned onto a road, going 20-30 MPH, it has happened while trying to merge onto the freeway. The car just stalls, says place in p to start and then dies. The gearshift and wheel lock up and you have to turn the car off and attempt to restart. Each time I had to try at least 3 times to get the car restarted. All lights come on dash, battery light included, but had battery checked and it is fine. Trying to restart, it doesn't want to turn over. …”
