Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The car has only 92000 miles and maintained good. Since it was only 70000 miles the a.c stopped blowing cold air. It was diagnosed that inside the dashboard the evaporator is not working properly causing freon leak. And outrage repair of 2000 dollars will be the cost. This is a problem with many Chrysler's 300 2005-2010. Since that is a main issue why there is no recall on this part? It seems like that company knows about this issue from over a 10000 customers and doesn't do anything about it. …”

NHTSA complaint #11218033, filed 2019-06, 70,000 miles

“Warning lights and instrument gauges will go on and off and while driving at night the headlights went out also. This is a real safety issue and have read other complaints about the same problem happening. Our car was bought new and only has 18000 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #10447683, filed 2012-02, 18,000 miles
