“Air conditioning problem A/C was blowing hot air took to repair shop. The mechanic wanted me to know that the A/C hose discharge line was a manufacturer defect. Why because there are two hoses that form an x, and at the point where they intersect (the metal bands) are rubbing together from vibration of the car. I did ask the mechanic if anything else (e.g. Car accident, rough roads) could have caused it and he said no. I also asked if the intersection of the hoses could be fixed by moving them so they don't rub together and he said no. It really is a manufacturing defect.”
