Example complaints

Electrical system: “Recall item p57/NHTSA 14v-567 recall was issued 10/13/2014. The manufacturer and the local dealers still have not made the part available to repair the issue. Frequently the car will not start when the key fob is turned. I have had to wait up to 15 minutes repeatedly turning the key fob before the car will start. I cannot take the car on trips any distance from home for fear of getting stuck. The recall item is 10-1/2 months old.”

NHTSA complaint #10760834, filed 2015-09, 100,000 miles

Steering: “Tie rods one both front wheels wore out prematurely at 39,000 miles. Premature wear also caused premature tire wear and shaking of steering wheel when driving above 40 miles per hour. Had the issue fixed and the tires replaced, only to have the tie rods wear out again at 57,000 miles. No other issue was found to be wrong with the car. The replacement tie rods wear oem. Second replaced tie rods were aftermarket.”

NHTSA complaint #10501403, filed 2013-03, 39,000 miles

Air bags: “May 2014 my airbag light kept coming on I took it to the dealer and they charge me 306.00 to repair the clock spring.now on march the 26th 2015 the airbag light came on again.I took it to the dealer on march 26th and they told me that I needed to pay 763.44 for something with the airbag system. My car was bought in 2008 and it has 59 thousand 700 something miles .I've never been in an accident where the airbag came out. So there has to be a defect somewhere.”
