The contact stated while waiting to make a left turn, the contact veered to the left at 5 MPH, and became aware that the steering wheel was unusually stiff. No warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was difficult to make tight U-Turns. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, it was not diagnosed or repaired yet. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline. The approximate failure mileage was 103,000.”
