“In the 2 years that I owned the van I have walked away from the car after a journey and accidentally left the van running 3 times and my mechanic has done it once. 2 of those times it was left running all night. Once it ran out of gas. It seems to happen when I am distracted. The safety issue is that the van has no warning system when this happens and there is a lot of carbon monoxide released into the air. It could be lethal in an enclosed area. …”

Since then, the backup camera will randomly display a colored screen (different colors each time) or display a picture of when the van was remote started. Camera functions very rarely as it is supposed to. I know a relative s Pacifica has a recall for this but not my Voyager and they both had the same issue. It's dangerous backing up after becoming accustomed to using the camera. Even when it rarely works, I'm afraid it'll glitch while I'm moving so it's still not safe. …”
