“Well I bought this van brand new when it has 32000 miles it broke the front crank seal. I took it to the dealer and has warranty on it they fix it. Now it has 72000 miles and broke again the front crank seal. Right now I don't know what I can do because I don't have warranty on it. I been searching and I found a lot of people having the same problem. If this is the case the dealer should fix this problem for free, because it came bad manufacture problem.”

“I am currently the owner of a 2007 Dodge Caravan. On march 8,2010, I noticed oil gushing from the bottom, right hand corner of my 2007 Dodge Caravan. I immediately drove it to the nearest garage to have it looked at. At this point I only had 30,941 miles on the vehicle the repair technician told me I had a blown cam seal. I contacted chrysler to see if I was still under warranty. Chrysler informed me that my warranty was three years or 36,000 miles and that my warranty had expired on december 6, 2010. The garage replaced the camseal, the head gasket, the timing belt, and the oil pan seal. …”

“The contact owns a 2007 Dodge Caravan. The contact stated that while driving 45 MPH, he heard a loud knocking noise. The vehicle was inspected by a certified mechanic, who diagnosed that the motor needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, but offered no assistance because the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileages were 66,000.”
