Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I discovered a break in one of the plastic ' wheel skins' on my car. I inquired about replacing the wheel skin and discovered I can't replace it and instead I would need to by a new rim instead. There is nothing wrong with my rim so no need to replace it. My complaint is we are made to buy new rims when these plastic wheel skins break down even though our rims are I perfectly good condition.”
