“The Uconnect system in my vehicle has been delaminating and has been causing several issues in my vehicle where the Blindspot detectors are not working properly and the back up camera is not working properly to notify me and alert me with whistles and chimes if a vehicle is driving behind me while I’m backing up or if a pedestrian is on my Blindspot crossing near my car. The Uconnect system in my vehicle is also causing issues where it is ghost touching and glitching my screen and clicking buttons I’m not clicking. …”

NHTSA complaint #11583231, filed 2024-04

“The screen cover separates from the touch screen on the radio. This makes the radio not function but more importantly other vehicle operational features are inaccessible. Apparently the screen feels random touches so even when I power it down it turns itself back on constantly beeping changinging stations, adjusting the heating/cooling controls, the clock etc. This is very distracting to a driver and I did nothing unusual to this device. I contacted the dealership and just the screen alone is over $1000. …”
