“My vehicle has been turning off lately, while in traffic, making turns or parking. My car loses rpms, the lights dim, and then the car cuts off. I have to put the car in park, turn it off, and restart the engine and proceed on to my destination. This has happened to be repeatedly over the past two years, I don't feel safe being in my truck.”

NHTSA complaint #10854277, filed 2016-04, 194,000 miles

“Vehicle stalled while driving down the road. I took it to the local mechanic and they did compression test on it they said no compression on the #7 cylinder, he told me it is an internal engine failure. My vehicle only has 33,000 miles on it. I found out it is a known issue, chrysler fixed it in the 05 models but did nothing for the 2003 and 2004 vehicles.”

Additional complaint is every now and then the truck won't start. The engine turns over, but doesn't start. I have to turn the key to the off position and then it starts on the re try.”

Light was on.”

“Began to slow down for a traffic light and my truck stalled while moving almost causing me to rear end the person ahead of me since I lost all control of my brakes and power steering. From what I'm reading this had happened to many people with the same year, make and model vehicle without any type of recall and its too dangerous of a situation.”
