NHTSA complaint #10716367, filed 2015-05, 143,000 miles“There is some kind of front-end vibration or wobble that starts at about 40 MPH through 44 MPH. I can't detect it above that speed. It can be felt through the steering wheel. I have had the tires balanced and rebalanced. The vibration is not affected, and remains the same. I have read of a recall that addresses front-end steering problems regarding the left-front tie rod ball joint . I can't find if this applies to the condition on my truck, but it may be possible. I just want to go on record that this truck has a vibration condition in the front end that at this time is not diagnosed.”
NHTSA complaint #10759196, filed 2015-08, 103,600 miles“Vehicle was manufactured without tow hooks at the front of the vehicle. It got stuck in soft wet sand on a camping trip. No means was available to extract the vehicle without attaching a tow chain directly to the chassis. When vehicle was pulled out, the front spoiler and bumper were damaged. On 9-2-05, a daimler chrysler representative on their 1-800 line refused to assist in repairing the vehicle, or even provide the tow hooks that the vehicle is lacking.”
