Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The body and frame problem is that when it snows, snow is found inside my vehicle on the front passenger side. This vehicle has not been in any accidents. What can I do besides going to a body and frame shop? The second problem is that the clear coat on the vehicle is coming off. I have gone to 3 paint shops. All three have told me it is caused by a defect in the clear coat and have told me I should contact the manufacture. Who do I contact since Eagle was bought out in regards to this problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10071231, filed 2004-01, 159,562 miles

“Had to replace water pump twice, transmission was a big problem for a while, also spark plug wires had to be replaced, caused car to perform very poorly”
