“Dec 23 2015 vehicle has 35,000 miles on it and the transmission went out in our driveway every gear was neutral. It was in the shop for 38 days before we received it back. All repairs done under warranty. Feb 9 2017 while in a parking lot the vehicle was put into reverse however the vehicle started to roll forward causing my wife to crash into a concrete pole in the parking lot damaging the front end. …”
NHTSA complaint #11048519, filed 2017-11, 54,936 miles“After asking I was told that the issue is called cabin pressure. This occurs at all speeds over 20mph the pressure interferes with your ability to hear. Gives you almost a headache it hurts your ears. It occurs when a window is rolled down more then 1 inch. Sometimes you can stop it by rolling down another window but sometimes you have to roll down a 3rd window to make it stop. It is worse when the window is rolled down 1/4 of the way or more.”
NHTSA complaint #10579704, filed 2014-04, 1,000 miles“A misalignment of the left front corner panel and the side panel, as well as a misalignment of the left rear corner panel and the side panel have taken place (see pictures). The dealership states that it is because of an impact. I believe that there is a problem in the clips that hold the panels together. Under the rear bumper, there is a crack in the plastic by the muffler (see picture). That was probably caused by backing into a snowbank. There are no other scratch marks on the underside of the rear bumper, and there are no scratch marks (caused by hitting something) under the front bumper. …”
NHTSA complaint #11075048, filed 2018-02, 33,457 miles“The sunroof exploded on his Fiat 500 L while he was driving. It was very early in the day, no other vehicles on the road so no debris hit it. It just exploded out of nowhere. Insurance has been notified to inspect the damage. The sunroof was closed at the time, due to it being 20 degrees. No prior issue with it. This has happened to other drivers with this particular vehicle per online chat rooms.”
