“We had an extended warranty and they replaced two foggy windows then one year latter we had three more windows that fogged and they said they no longer cover glass under the warranty!!!!!!!!!! Now the rest of the windows are foggy and we have no recourse and are not a lone as we understand all discovers up to 2009 have the same problem!!!!!!!!! Where is the justice in this problem that we as the consumers are now faced with.”
NHTSA complaint #10644964, filed 2014-10, 50,500 miles“All the windows on my coach have fogged between the panes, I had to have my driver side replaced on my own for safety concerns, the rest all subsequently failed and this is a major issue with such a high profile vehicle , I believe Fleetwood should be forced to recall and repair!”
NHTSA complaint #10489524, filed 2012-12, 10,000 miles“After owning my Fleetwood rv for only 4 years, and keeping it housed indoors, all of the double-pained windows have failed and fogged over. It is near impossible to get a clear look thru the side rear view mirrors because of the deterioration of the windows. This creates a very difficult situation while driving and will lead to needless accidents. I have complained to Fleetwood but to no avail. It will cost thousands of dollars to have the faulty windows repaired. A quick search of the internet indicates that this endemic of Fleetwood rv's produced from 2000-2010. …”
NHTSA complaint #10465592, filed 2012-07, 7,000 miles“Fleetwood used cheap se-gi window in the manufacturing of the Discovery motorhomes. As a result the dual pane windows are all fogging up. The driver side slider window is so fogged up that it is difficult to see out of and into the mirror. Replacement of this window is about 700.00. This motor home is out of warranty and will not be repaired by Fleetwood.”
NHTSA complaint #10651827, filed 2014-11, 15,899 miles“All windows of the motorhome are fogged up making a serious safety hazard. This has occurred over the last 1.5 years and steadily getting worse and affecting all windows in the motorhome.”
