“Bought a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion new in 2007 with in 3 years several windows lost their seal. Total of 5 so far including window by driver's seat,causing problems with vision. I contacted Fleetwood who said they had no liability. I contacted a glass company who said that should not have occurred . I have owned cars 40 to 50 years old which did not have this problem . Is there not a standard for glass installed in motorhomes. Thanks for any help here replacement will run 200 to 300 each ,but I think this is a Fleetwood defect.”
NHTSA complaint #10470823, filed 2012-08“The contact owns a 2006 Fleetwood Excursion. The motor home was jacked up and leveled. When the contact pressed the button to retract the jacks, all but one retracted because it was hung up. He called roadside assistance after two hours of attempting to get it back in and he even used hydraulic pressure to assist. He is currently waiting for another jack to be made for the motor home. The current and failure mileages were 40,000.”
