“In the middle of the night in one place that I didn't have any light just the cars passing I had to stop because the engine failsafe mode was on. I stop to read the manual for to know what I have to do? After 20 min without leaving the car because I was alone I start driving again so slow to my house.”

NHTSA complaint #10487777, filed 2012-12, 60,100 miles

“While driving my Fleetwood motorhome, I noticed an electrical odor. I looked toward the back of the coach and the rear bedroom was full of smoke. When I finally got the coach to a service center, it was determined that the exhaust system had a hole in it near the engine. The coach only had 32000 miles. The heat from the engine through the exhaust heated the electrical control box that is immediately adjacent to the engine, the coating on the wiring melted and that resulted in an electrical fire. I feel that there is a major design flaw that could result in bodily injury or death.”
