“I received from the chevrolet motor division a letter stating that they had received reports of crashes that may be related to the maintenance of the auto-apply parking brake. The auto-park brake has a tendency to apply itself as the vehicle is crusing down the highway. This has occured on my motor home and also on two other rv owner's of chevrolet chassis that I have spoken with. I am sure there are other owners who had similar problems with this auto- parking brake. This is a very dangerous situation that needs to be corrected by the manufacturer. …”

Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer has replaced parts, problem still occurs. There is no park in transmission, the vehicle is heavy for this type of parking brake gvwr 16,500.”
