NHTSA complaint #10243214, filed 2008-09, 7,050 milesBody and structure: “Dt: contact stated the electric shade fell off of 2004 Fleetwood coach and hurt his hand. This happened on august 24, 2005. As he was straightening out in the road there was a rock that struck the luggage compartment doors. The rock damaged the underneath of the door. Both hangers broke and were hanging by the wires on one end. The consuerm had to cut the wires to release the shade.”
NHTSA complaint #10134591, filed 2005-09, 4,024 milesFuel system: “This a Fleetwood rv,the problem is it will not take fuel from a normally used fuel nozzle found at truck stops. The only way I can fill the motor home with fuel, is to remove both filler caps (one on each side) which will allow fuel to go in with out over flowing onto the pavement. But be cause both fillers are open fuel always runs out before the nozzle shuts off. Fleetwood advised me that my rv was designed to be filled at normal gas stations and there was nothing that could be done. That of course makes little sense. This is a 110 gallon tank. …”
