“Right front shock is leaking fluid-notice that the female part of the shock is rubbing the frame,right above the mou n tng bolt.also the right shock is rubbing the frame.this vehicle hasn't been in a wreck-I think there needs toa spacer between the shocks mounting bolt and the frame,to pull it away from the frame-”
NHTSA complaint #743281, filed 2001-03“Third failure of ball joints (currently upper are bad again). First replaced 02/08/1995, second replace at ~60,000 miles on 07/30/1998. Third now bad at ~80,000 miles. 90% of driving is interstate at about 10-12k miles per year. Ford has service bulletins but will not stand behind product.”
