“Failure of ball joint in steering linkage attaching passenger side front wheel to steering linkage. The result was loss of control of the passenger side front wheel. This occured on a straight stretch of highway. The part was original equipment and had not been damaged. The ball came out of the socket, a potentialy fatal flaw.”

Power steering unit detaches from frame, pulls bolts through I-b mount position, fatigues metal, impossible to repair and is a continuous problem, Ford refuses to correct.”
