“I recently purchased the 2017 Ford Fiesta, (just hit the 30 day mark), and about a week in I noticed the car do this jolt thing while accelerating. I thought I may have been just laying my foot too hard on the gas by accident but now, on a few different occasions, while slowing the car down it has violently jumped forward. It started as seeming to have a hard time switching gears on acceleration but these few times I was slowing with my put on the brake and it thrusted forward, violently.”

It usually happens in very heavy traffic and I have to engage the clutch. This always happens when the vehicle is in motion. This happens pretty much anywhere, street, highway, freeway, drive way. It only happens when the clutch is engaged. If the car is in gear and the clutch is not engaged, it wont stall. I did take it to hemborg Ford in norco, ca and they reflashed the computer, but it still is happening. …”
