“Premature perforated corrosion of entire steel brake line of my 1999 Ford expedition eddie bauer 5.4l 4wd was discovered after my brake warning light went on without any perceived problem with braking noted. Inspection of the brakes by a non-dealer vendor revealed a well maintained brake system except for severe corrosion of the entire brake line system with a leak above the gas tank suspected. No repairs were started and the vehicle was immediately delivered to the dealer (al packer Ford). …”
NHTSA complaint #10195982, filed 2007-07, 128,000 miles“Vehicle shakes when brakes are applied; I took the vehicle to the dealership twice, it did not get fixed and another problem presented itself which I had to have fixed as well. I then proceeded to take it to another dealership to get the brakes fixed, they too did not fix the problem; the vechicle still shakes at around 30.”

I stuck a minivan that was crossing in front of my truck at the time of the accident I thought that I had not applied the breaks in time , now after 7 more intermittent brake failures with one of those reasulting in a rear end collision with minor damage this was about the thrid failure thu truck was taken to a dealer and they said their was air in the brake line the tuuck was driven untill thursday july 29 ,1999 when the truck was taken back to the dealer after more failuers that week…”
