“Ref 2002 Ford explorer, transmission problems. Third gear went out at 57,000 miles. Beach Ford replaced. Have never gotten the gears syncronized. Have to touch gear shift sometimes to put in gear. Tonight car is back at beach Ford with a transmission pump leak. Reported this car last week for acceleration problems.”

I'm not happy to know that I have that switch and want it replaced, too. I have disconnected it and feel cheated that I can not use an expensive and convenient item like that. I felt as if I would have been driving in a fire trap if I didn't have it disconnected. Please help me out here! Thank you, bjbauer”
