“Suffered complete brake failure, pedal went to the floor approaching traffic at a red light. I had to jump the curbs and drive off the road to avoid a collision with the stopped cars. I was able to down shift and use the parking brake to stop the car and limp to a repair shop (at slow speed using the parking brake). They found a spit in the steel brake line just below the radiator that LED to the catastrophic loss of brakes.”
