“We have purchased six interceptor sedans, three in 2012 and three in 2013. All of them have been purchased with the road ready package. The whelen lights in the headlights have been going out. I have one car that is having to get the lights replaced for the second time. Our dealer, jeff smith Ford, is saying that this is not covered by warranty. The way the cars are designed the front bumper cover has to be removed to replace these bulbs. The whelen bulb is over $400 along with the labor cost this could easily cost over $500. Ford says there is not a problem with these lights but I disagree. …”

“Vehicle is equipped with the ready for the road package. The whelen ion lights in the rear window kept blowing the fuse. Ford investigated and found a wire on the passenger light to be worn through and touching the bare metal. Insulation around the wire was melted from the heat. Ford replaced though factory warranty.”

Was able to slow vehicle with emergency brake and came to a stop. Opened the hood and saw entire top half of engine near firewall on fire.”
