“While driving a 1995 Ford Taurus Sho I experienced a failure of the front subframe where it detached from the body. This failure was identical to that described in NHTSA recall 98v323 and Ford recall 98s36. Ford claims this vehicle has had the recall performed on 5/27/1999 - if this is the case then the vehicle failed in exactly the same manner as if the recall was not performed. This makes me question the quality of the repair; I also am considering contacting the dcp to determine if fraud was committed, I.e. The recall repair work was claimed to be performed but not actually completed.”
