“I am reporting a recurring drivetrain defect in my 2022 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport Prestige AWD (current mileage: 20,000 miles). The vehicle produces a prominent, loud mechanical whining and droning noise specifically when driving within the speed range of 55 mph to 65 mph. The issue is highly load-dependent: the noise significantly intensifies and gets louder when decelerating/coasting down through this speed window without the brakes applied and it is very prominent on smooth roads or highway. …”

NHTSA complaint #11743027, filed 2026-06

“The vehicle transmission went out randomly on the freeway , it’s 2022 , there was no lights indicated that anything was wrong. The vehicle is new and the manufactured doesn’t want to pay for it or help with it.”
