“I am reporting a recurring transmission/drivetrain problem that I believe may warrant investigation for a potential safety defect. Beginning in approximately May 2026, my vehicle developed a pronounced hard bump/jerk and shudder during transmission operation. The problem initially occurred primarily in 3rd, 4th and 5th gears and became more noticeable after the vehicle warmed up. The condition was significant enough that I took the vehicle to Genesis of Columbia/Silver’s Hyundai for diagnosis. …”
