“As I was approaching a red light, I pressed on my breaks and heard a grinding noise coming from the driver side front tire. My car would not accelerate much, I pushed on the brakes and then the gas and started to move. As I was driving I felt the car pulling. I noticed the ABS traction control off, all wheel drive off, and stabilitrack lights all came on. I called the local Gmc dealership service center. Now just waiting to hear back from them.”

“Goodyear eagle rs-a tires under 6 months old burst from sidewall. The first tire had a slow side wall leak that may have initiated while driving on local roads. The second tire spontaneously burst at the sidewall while driving on the highway at a speed in excess of 65 MPH. The hole was large enough for roadside to put his finger through. No tire pressure sensors noted an issue prior to both events.”

“The contact owns a 2011 Gmc Acadia. The contact stated that when driving in rainy or icy weather, the tires would spin abnormally when accelerating from a stop and would not grip the pavement. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was test driven. The dealer informed the contact that they were unable to locate a failure within the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure who informed the contact to take the vehicle back to the dealer for further inspection. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer who advised the contact that the vehicle was safe to drive. …”
