Additionally, a friend also bought a basic 2004 colorado and was not informed of the lack of this feature. …”
NHTSA complaint #10090415, filed 2004-09, 34 miles“I own a 2004 Gmc Canyon, and someone parked too close to my driverside for me to get into the vehicle, when I went to the passengers side I discovered there was no lock in the passenger door. I do not have keyless entry. I was trying to get into the vehicle to reach my medication. I had no way into the vehicle. The dealer did not disclose the absence of a passenger side door lock. This cannot be safe, what if a child was in the truck.”
