“My 2007 Gmc Canyon is suffering from the problems described in service bulletin #07123a, engine intake valve seat/misfire. The extended warranty granted to those in #07123a was for model years 2004-2006. My vehicle was built after this time frame but is evidence that the problem still exists. Gm should do the right thing and extend the service bulletin to include model year 2007. The vehicle has 48,864 miles on it and I was quoted $2,500 plus tax to make the repairs at brotherton Gmc/cadillac in renton, wa.”

Causing a source for fire and toxic gas in cabin! This required a connector and a resistor to be replaced, at a cost of $306.13, but Gmc did not lower the fused rating in truck.”
NHTSA complaint #10353792, filed 2010-09, 10,000 miles“The contact called on behalf of the owner of a 2007 Gmc Canyon. While driving at an unknown speed, the contact became nauseous. The contact pulled the vehicle off the roadway, exited the vehicle, and passed out for several minutes according to a witness. The driver experienced symptoms due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The contact attempted to move the vehicle once she regained consciousness, but became overwhelmed. The contact stopped the vehicle and, while attempting to retrieve documents from the glove box, she noticed flames inside the glove box. The contact exited the vehicle. …”
