Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“Just about every 6 months from when I bought the car, my 17 aluminum wheel rims corroded & oxidize enough to cause heavy flaking that breaks the seal on the tires causing air to leak out. I have come out to flat tires on at least 4 separate occasions. There is nothing wrong with the tires themselves, just the heavy corrosion on the wheels. I have the local tire place take the tires off the rims, scrape the wheels, seal & reinflate the tires just about every 9 months. I've been told chrysler knows about this problem but have never rec'd a recall notice.”
