“Cooper tires came apart and caused damage to my truck and 5th wheel travel trailer. I'm being jacked around by crawford company. Don't return phone calls still trying to get truck fixed. The blow out nearly tore the front bumper off. Tore out the wheel well liner then went under truck and damaged my 5th wheel trailer. Incident occurred same day of company recall.”
NHTSA complaint #10203223, filed 2007-09, 60,849 miles“Fire stone steeltex tire not covered by latest recal. Tires are comming appart at 30k miles. Large peices of rubber missing from tire. Dealer will not replace under tire warrantee. I think that because of the dealer/manufacturer's refusal to admit that these issues are related to the tires and not the use you are getting inaccurate data about the number of defects in these poor quality products.”
