“A large crack appeared on the dash hump behind the steering wheel and grew larger leaving a hole exposing the steering column electrical wires. Another crack developed on the dash beside the upper left corner of the passenger side airbag. I am concerned with both electronics being exposed and jagged edges beside the airbag deployment area, the airbags may fail in a crash. I am also concerned that steering could eventually become impacted. I contacted GM customer service and they refused to provide assistance even though they know it is a common, well documented problem in their vehicles. …”
