“I purchased the vehicle in July 2024. I drove the car for 10 days, and when I was driving 65 mph, the check engine light blinked three times and then went off. After that, the engine made a sound that was not there before. I took the vehicle to the dealership and they had the car for many weeks, concluding that the lifters broke and the engine needed to be replaced. The dealership said they replaced the engine and the car was returned to me towards the end of August. …”

The dealership said that a rod is not working probably. I have had two other yukons and drove them for almost 10 years and never had this issue. This is my third one and only has 41,000 miles and has been to dealership to be serviced. This should not have happened. According to research I have done it states that there were some TSBs on mechanical failures in the seats. …”

NHTSA complaint #11767675, filed 2026-09

“Service Safety Restrain System message keeps appearing after taking to dealer a few times. It will go off and on intermittantly and not sure the airbags are actually functional. This seems to be a common issue based on an internet search across multiple GM products that does not have a known fix. Also, the driver seat shifts slightly when making turns.”
