“This is a preventive report !!! I am reporting this for the benefit of other harley owners of this year engine. I wish to have harley recall the bikes rather then issue a 5 yr / 50,000 extended warranty on the bearing. It did not happen to my bike yet. But reports in magazine and on the web indicate that cam bearing failures on certain 1999-2000 harely engines are occuring. The web inteface here would not let me file unless I put numbers in. So, I put in numbers in in order to get a message to you. Again it did not fail on my particular engine. …”
