“The fuel gauge is completely inaccurate. I've complained to the dealer to fix it, which worked for a month, but the problem is back. The fuel light is always on and right after filling up my tank the gas gauge will not go above a quarter of a tank, if it goes up at all.”
NHTSA complaint #10891783, filed 2016-07, 15,000 miles“The fuel gauge intermittently gives inaccurate readings. When the first incident occurred, the fuel gauge had previously been indicating ~1/4 of a tank remaining, but upon starting it the day the gauge jumped to full, and took nearly 15 minutes to slowly drop down to the accurate level. A few days later, after filling the bike with gas, the gauge did not register the added fuel for the duration of a 10 minute ride.”
