“Traveling along rt 89 in new hampshire could hear rumbling noise and when we got to rt 4 in vermont the rear end dropped and started dragging on the road. After checking both rear swing arms snapped at the rear axle. If this had happened while driving 60 - 65 MPH on interstate rt 89 we could have been hurt or killed. After checking with roadmaster, now owned buy navistar, there is a new and improved swing arm kit they are willing to sell you at $1749 plus shipping.”

“I own a 2007 model Holiday Rambler Neptune motorhome manufactured by monaco coach corporation. I read a service bulletin in a camping magazine and found out that the rear trailing arms on my motorhome were failing due to inadequate strength. Upon reading this, and further investigation, I determined for my families safety that I needed to have the trailing arms replaced. My motorhome should still be under the factory chassis warranty, but because of bankruptcy in 2009 they did not have to honor the warranty. Therefore the $3,000.00+ expense fell onto my shoulders. …”
