“While diving at highway speeds (first at 55mph in may 2025 and then again in July 2025 at 65mph) I got a warning on screen about power loss and a critical failure and that power will be reduced and to stop at the side of the road. Within 30 seconds or a minute of the warning the car power cut out significantly impacting the speed and both times almost causing traffic behind me to hit me from behind. I took it to Honda dealership in dulles, va back in may 2025 and they told me it was the electric water pump which I had replaced. …”
NHTSA complaint #11671387, filed 2025-07, 46,002 miles“When traveling 52 MPH my car makes a very loud droning sound. My dealership has confirmed the noise and believe it to be an active noise control problem. They replaced the mics and module were replaced without resolution. Honda engineering advised to replace with a part for a 2021 model year. After being in the shop for 2 months the part was replaced without resolution. Honda engineering advised the dealer to disconnect the unit and return the car to me while they researched. There still isn't resolution.”
NHTSA complaint #11403722, filed 2021-03, 19,000 miles“1. The apple car play freezes with the original apple lightning cable 2. The driver's door closes worse than the passenger door. I have to push the driver's door much harder to close it. 3. The issue with the air conditioner. I'm using auto 72 degrees and don't like to play with the AC. 30-40 minutes after warming up the car, the air from the left and right front grilles begins to blow with cold air, I feel cold air on my knees. If I manually change the direction of the air only to the face, then the air is blowing warm. …”
NHTSA complaint #11384838, filed 2020-12, 300 miles“This vehicle would make uncomfortable noise at a speed of roughly 55 MPH. When I was traveling on highway and cruise at around 55 MPH, there was a chance that I can hear a noise building up. This noise felt like engine spinning at 2000-3000 rpms but I couldn't determine what exactly it was. I am saying 'building up' because this noise would become louder and louder within the next few seconds, to a level that made me and passenger uncomfortable. Then I would either decelerate or accelerate a bit and the noise just went away abruptly. …”
NHTSA complaint #11327043, filed 2020-06, 1,240 miles“New car, less than 2000 miles. All of a sudden loud noise is coming out of the speakers, something like an audio amplifier noise under load, but very loud. Happens randomly, can be really distracting.”
