“When you accelerate on the gas the car jumps and you can feel it in the gas pedal. I have taken it to Honda and they can not figure it out since no one else has complained about it. Doesn't jump all the time but mostly when I am over 40 MPH, sometimes it has jumped as soon as I have taken off”

“I'm not sure but I think it's the regenerative brakes. They came on so hard when I let off the gas. I was almost rear ended and the guy behind me was pissed off. I was on the 15 fwy going about 70 when I let off the gas and the brakes slammed on. And on cost hwy going about 30 MPH let off the gas and the brakes slammed on.”

The information center of the dash scrolls through saying brake system problem , vehicle stability assist (vsa) problem , hill start assist problem , collision mitigation system problem , road departure mitigation system problem , adaptive cruise control problem . This has happened while driving on the highway and on suburban roadways at various speeds. The last time it happened I was breaking while approaching a red light and nearly rear ended the person in front of me. …”

“All four door locks have failed on the vehicle, needing to be replaced. The first door lock - rear passenger - failed in the first two years of owning the car. It was replaced at Honda dealership under warranty. The door lock failed again about a year later. The front passenger door lock and rear driver door lock failed thereafter. All three have been replaced. Now driver door lock has failed necessitating a replacement. Additionally, trunk lock has failed which needed to also be replaced.”

“We are writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue with our 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid EX-L, which we purchased from the SF Honda dealership. Over the past few weeks, we’ve experienced a loud static noise coming from the audio unit — even when the audio is turned off. The only way to stop the noise is to put the car in park, turn it off, and restart it. Unfortunately, this solution is inconsistent, as the noise sometimes persists even after restarting. The sound is deafening and extremely distracting, which raises serious safety concerns for us. …”
